Job Description

DXC Technology Italy is looking for a Technical Leader to join our Application Service DXC Team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute business and technical software solutions to implement new or enhanced systems (upgrades or conversions).
• Utilize appropriate solutions/tools to analyze, identify, and resolve business and technical problems.
• Collaborate with clients, business analysts, and project managers to understand the business environment, technical context, and organizational strategies.
• Stay updated on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies.
• Lead a small team, providing mentoring and guidance to less experienced developers, including assisting in designing solutions.

Education and Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical fields).
• Experience with Digital Development Services, Agile Application Development, DevOps, Cloud-based applications, and Microservices architecture.
• Strong technical skills in programming languages such as Java EE, Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Security, Data, Boot), Single Page Application frameworks, Microservices, Docker, design patterns, architecture design, and databases (SQL and NoSQL).
• Knowledge of software development processes (Agile, Waterfall) and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency with web development tools for new applications.
• Basic understanding of modern software design and development methodologies.
• The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, results-oriented mindset, decision-making skills, and the ability to work well in teams.
