Topcon Positioning Group in Italy seeks an Application Specialist Geomatics to support dealers and customers across Italy and EMEA, with remote work from Italy and up to 40% travel. You will back up field teams with strong geomatics expertise and effective communication across multi-country projects.

The role emphasizes hands-on experience with Capture Reality and MAGNET software, plus delivering trainings online or at our Modena training centers.

Competenze

• Degree in Geodesy, Survey or Civil/Construction Eng.
• 5+ years in survey, Capture Reality, SLAM, scanning, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction jobsite processes and field workflows.
• Fluent in Italian and English, written and spoken.

Mansioni

• Provide technical support to Topcon dealers, partners and end customers in Italy and EMEA region.
• Support applications across Capture Reality, Scanning, SLAM, GNSS, survey, construction and hybrid positioning workflows.
• Act as a key expert for MAGNET software, including Field, Office and Online modules.
• Prepare and deliver technical trainings, both online and at the Topcon Training Centre in Concordia sulla Secchia, Modena.
• Create learning and support content for myTopcon, myTopcon NOW! and eLearning programs on customers and dealer level.
• Collaborate with Sales Unit, Marketing, Product Platform and Professional Services teams in Italy and across EMEA.

Application Specialist Geomatics

Topcon Positioning Group | Italy-based remote role | Italy & EMEA travel up to 40%

Topcon Positioning Group is looking for an Application Specialist Geomatics to support our distribution partners and customers across Italy and EMEA.

This role is ideal for a hands‑on Geomatics professional with strong field experience, excellent communication skills and a passion for advanced positioning technology.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Topcon dealers, partners and end customers in Italy and EMEA region.
• Support applications across Capture Reality, Scanning, SLAM, GNSS, survey, construction and hybrid positioning workflows.
• Act as a key expert for MAGNET software, including Field, Office and Online modules.
• Prepare and deliver technical trainings, both online and at the Topcon Training Centre in Concordia sulla Secchia, Modena.
• Create learning and support content for myTopcon, myTopcon NOW! and eLearning programs on customers and dealer level.
• Collaborate with Sales Unit, Marketing, Product Platform and Professional Services teams in Italy and across EMEA.

What we are looking for

• Degree or technical background in Geodesy, Survey Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or similar.
• 5+ years of experience in survey, Capture Reality, SLAM, scanning, vertical construction, road construction, agriculture control applications or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction jobsite processes and field workflows.
• Good understanding of Capture Reality software and digital workflows.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Italian and English.
• Training mindset, customer focus and ability to explain technical topics clearly.

Working conditions

• Remote role based in Italy.
• Regular visits to the Topcon Concordia Training Centre in Modena when required.
• Travel in Italy and across EMEA up to approximately 40%.
• Role may include activities on construction jobsites and around heavy equipment.
• Salary range from 50K Euro – to 60K Euro gross Yearly + company Car
