CNS Worldwide Executive Search is recruiting for an Application Marketing Specialist to join the Sales & Marketing Division of a cutting-edge scientific instrumentation company.

This role involves driving pre-sales support, marketing content development, and technical expertise for complex analytical equipment, especially in X-ray analytical technologies (e.g., SAXS/SANS, XRD).

The ideal candidate combines scientific expertise with marketing skills, with a passion for customer success, collaboration, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development Support

• Foster a customer-focused culture.
• Align strategies with Sales, Marketing, and Product Development teams for growth and customer satisfaction.

• Support product development using advanced X-ray analytical tools.
• Develop use cases and content highlighting product advantages.
• Assist Sales in analyzing customer challenges and solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations and communicate technical value.

• Create marketing assets for product launches.
• Support customer communication and showcase updates.
• Analyze market needs and guide product strategy.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
• Provide insights on features and differentiation.
• Represent the company at industry events.

• Act as a trusted advisor to customers.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Respond promptly to customer feedback.

Qualifications:

• PhD in Physics, Chemistry, or related field focusing on analytical techniques.
• Extensive experience with X-ray characterization tools (SAXS/SANS, XRD).
• Proven ability to interpret and communicate complex analytical data.
• Knowledge of instrumentation and scientific principles of X-ray analysis.
• Skills in scientific data analysis and visualization.
• Experience in scientific marketing activities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proactive and curious mindset, committed to staying updated on X-ray technologies.

Reporting Line:

Reports directly to the Sales and Marketing Director, collaborating with application experts and product management.
