CNS Worldwide Executive Search is recruiting for an Application Marketing Specialist to join the Sales & Marketing Division of a cutting-edge scientific instrumentation company.
This role involves driving pre-sales support, marketing content development, and providing technical expertise for complex analytical equipment, especially in X-ray analytical technologies (e.g., SAXS/SANS, XRD).
The ideal candidate will have a blend of scientific expertise and marketing skills, with a passion for customer success, collaboration, and impactful communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development Support
- Foster a customer-focused culture within the organization.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product Development teams to align strategies and ensure unified growth and customer satisfaction.
- Scientific Expertise & Market Engagement
- Apply knowledge of X-ray analytical tools to support product development and demonstrate application value.
- Develop use cases and content with Marketing to highlight product advantages.
- Assist Sales in analyzing customer challenges and recommending solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations highlighting technical value.
- Product Deployment & Evolution
- Generate marketing assets and promotional content for launches and campaigns.
- Support customer communication with product updates and innovations.
- Research market needs and competitive landscape to guide strategy.
- Provide insights for feature enhancements and product differentiation.
- Represent the company at industry events.
- Customer Collaboration & Communication
- Act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle.
- Build relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Respond promptly to customer needs and feedback.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Physics, Chemistry, or related field, with focus on analytical techniques.
- Experience with X-ray characterization tools (SAXS/SANS, XRD).
- Proven ability to interpret and communicate complex analytical data.
- Knowledge of instrumentation and scientific principles of X-ray analysis.
- Skills in data analysis, interpretation, and visualization.
- Experience in scientific marketing activities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proactive and curious mindset, committed to staying current with X-ray technologies.
Reporting Line: Reports directly to the Sales and Marketing Director, working closely with application experts and product management.
