CNS Worldwide Executive Search is seeking an Application Marketing Specialist to join a leading scientific instrumentation company's Sales & Marketing Division.

The role involves supporting pre-sales activities, developing marketing content, and providing technical expertise for complex analytical equipment, especially in X-ray analytical technologies such as SAXS/SANS and XRD.

The ideal candidate combines scientific expertise with marketing skills, a passion for customer success, and strong communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Business Development Support: Foster a customer-focused culture and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product Development teams to align strategies.
  2. Scientific Expertise & Market Engagement: Use advanced knowledge of X-ray tools to support product development and create impactful content. Assist sales with customer challenges and conduct product demonstrations.
  3. Product Deployment & Evolution: Generate marketing assets, support product launches, analyze market needs, and represent the company at industry events.
  4. Customer Collaboration & Communication: Serve as a trusted advisor, maintain relationships, and respond promptly to customer feedback.
Qualifications:
  • PhD in Physics, Chemistry, or related field with a focus on analytical techniques.
  • Extensive experience with X-ray characterization tools (SAXS/SANS, XRD).
  • Proven ability to interpret and communicate complex analytical data.
  • Knowledge of scientific instrumentation and principles of X-ray analysis.
  • Experience in scientific data analysis and visualization.
  • Background in marketing activities related to scientific products.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proactive and curious mindset, committed to staying updated on X-ray technologies.

Reporting Line: Reports directly to the Sales and Marketing Director, working closely with application experts and product management.
