Application Engineer - Multinational Company

We are recruiting for a leading multinational group specializing in high-tech machine tools, well-positioned in the market. We are seeking an Application Engineer who will report directly to the Sales Director. The role involves developing business and serving as a technical reference for clients.

1. Responsibilities:
2. Analyze workpieces and machine requirements to assess project feasibility.
3. Highlight product advantages and advanced design qualities, including standard equipment levels, ease of use, and productivity advantages over competitors.
4. Support commercial activities both on-site and in the office, ensuring contractual and company policy compliance.
5. Conduct feasibility studies, cycle time analyses, and manage pre-sales customer relations.
6. Assist clients in decision-making by preparing detailed offers with timelines and supply conditions.
7. Gather market intelligence on competitors, trends, and new opportunities.
8. Implement customized solutions to meet client needs.
9. Prepare reports on activity performance, technical-commercial aspects, costs, and revenues.

Requirements:

• Technical background, preferably in machine tools or gear manufacturing.
• Willingness to travel internationally approximately 30% of the time.
• Fluent in English.

Work Location: Province of Bologna
