Application Engineer

We are looking for an Application Engineer to support the LU-VE Plant Division in Italy.

In this role, you will report to the Application Engineer Manager.

You will be based at Refrion S.r.l in Flumignano (UD), with the option to be based in Alonte (VI).

Mission of the role

The Application Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support in the selection and development of products, primarily to the sales department, as well as to distributors, direct customers, and consultants.

You will be in charge of

• Harmonizing relations with the commercial network and among various business departments involved in order development by providing the appropriate technical-commercial support.
• Checking and improving selection tools in collaboration with relevant functions.
• Searching for more efficient selection systems.
• Coordinating activities and managing information flow related to the development and production of orders, especially for special machines, supporting the technical department.
• Ensuring selection activities for orders comply with feasibility and sustainability rules.
• Collaborating with different business functions to improve processes and support the application of procedures across the group.
• Monitoring product requirements, application conditions, and configurations to inform standardization efforts based on market needs.

Education & Experience

• Preferably 1 year of experience in a similar role within medium or large companies, preferably in the refrigeration sector.
• Engineering Degree (Energy, Mechanical, Materials, Aerospace Engineering) or a Technical High School Diploma.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Preferably familiar with SAP management system.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Passion for the role.
