ARAG is now a company of Nordson Corporation (Nasdaq: NDSN) as Precision Agriculture Division (PAG).

We are looking for an Application Engineer to join our team.

Summary Of The Role

The position will be responsible for working with customers to understand their needs and design solutions using the company's products. Assists customers with identifying their technical specifications and determine what documentation is required to incorporate the organization's products into customer applications. Prepares engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications to ensure that customers' technical requirements are met. Develops application notes that clearly describe how the organization's products should be used in the customers' target application. Develops test applications used for testing modules, including customer-specific components.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Research customer needs and problems. In collaboration with R&D, suggest possible corrections and improvements to products and their operation.
2. Analyze competition and market trends, then translate feedback and requirements into design and track product and functionality development.
3. Develop product business plans, including development specifications, positioning, launch, and promotional activities.
4. Manage product lifecycle stages from design through production and sales, verifying and coordinating defined timelines.
5. Interface with customers by providing technical support and identifying the most appropriate products/features for each case.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics.
2. Previous experience in a similar role for structured companies.
3. Understanding and designing mechanical and fluid dynamic systems and circuits.
4. Business English and a second foreign language are desired.
5. Willingness to travel.
6. Mandatory requirements include customer and business orientation.
7. Availability for frequent travel.
