A technology start-up is seeking an experienced APPLICATION ENGINEER in Rovereto (Trento) to contribute to product development and customer interactions. The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or a PhD, along with strong technical knowledge in analog and digital electronics. This full-time position offers the possibility of remote work and a permanent contract.

Innoitaly is a spin-off of Check Up, an Italian manufacturing company with more than thirty years of experience in technology analysis and consulting aimed at the design, industrialization, and implementation of innovative solutions for improving production, data collection, and analysis, thereby increasing system efficiency. Innoitaly is looking for an APPLICATION ENGINEER for the new office located in ROVERETO (Trento).

Responsibilities

1. Follow various phases of product development, such as architecture definition, specification definition, test plan implementation, and electrical characterization/validation of the devices.
2. Contribute to the definition of new products by leveraging knowledge of new applications as the main factor for innovation.
3. Interact continuously with customers through meetings, calls, and on-site support, and prepare documents such as application notes and evaluation boards to facilitate product design and promotion at customer sites.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or PhD.
• Fluency in English and basic Italian.
• Strong technical knowledge in analog and digital electronics.
• The ideal candidate is a team player who works well in collaborative and challenging environments, with a strong problem-solving approach, results orientation, sense of urgency, and proactivity skills.
• Previous experience in laboratory settings and good laboratory skills are required, as most work will be conducted on the bench.
• Proficiency with industry-standard PCB design and simulation software (Cadence, Orcad, Altium, etc.) and tools for automatic characterization and validation (LabVIEW, Matlab, etc.).
• A methodical approach to testing and knowledge sharing with stakeholders and the technical community are essential.
