Role : Application Engineer

Location : Catania, Sicily

Job type : Full-time

Job Description

• Represent our client to your clients both on-site and on frequent remote calls.
• Effectively interface with a broad range of client stakeholders including operators, process engineers, industrial engineers, Fab managers, IT, and Executives.
• Manage the entire project life cycle by developing and maintaining the schedule to meet project goals, defining clear deliverables, determining what expertise is required, and producing estimates of program / project requirements based on changing client needs.
• Work closely with other members of our client's applications engineering team, including frequent communication with the Program Manager and Commercial Manager for your sites.
• Work closely with our client's software development team (EMEA, US, Asia), including providing feedback on applications, communicating new feature requests, performing QA for new versions, and managing deployments.
• Maintain frequent communication with the Program Manager and Key Account Manager for your sites.
• Develop training material, provide on-site training, and update our client's Help Site as needed.
• Provide support during unscheduled downtime.
• Travel may be required on average of 30%, depending on project status.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing
• Diploma, Master's degree or higher in engineering or computer science
• Responsibilities commensurate with experience and education
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with industrial engineering concepts
• Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle
• Effective communication skills and comfort presenting to groups
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and presentation creation
• Self-starter with strong self-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
• Excellent Italian and English skills; knowledge of French or German is a plus
