Descrizione del lavoro

The Application Engineer supports our Customer, Product Management, and Sales Channels in finding the best solutions and creating customer-specific solutions. The role is responsible for addressing application-driven questions from sales channels and staff, conducting training sessions, understanding market requirements, and identifying growth opportunities for product modifications and new series. Additionally, the Application Engineer helps build application-driven expertise by developing tools, training concepts, and providing input to other functions.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Development: Lead and develop team members, ensuring their health, well-being, and safety. Manage the budget for your responsibilities. Set, monitor, and evaluate objectives, taking corrective actions when necessary. Master Pfannenberg's strategy and achieve strategic goals. Promote Pfannenberg's culture within the organization, fostering necessary change. Embody the company's values, mission, and vision. Model the seven leadership principles.
  • Global Functional Work Standards & Operations: Provide technical support to sales channels and customers. Assist in the Product Requirement Document (PRD) process by guiding sales in asking the right questions and validating information. Conduct product and application-related training sessions.
  • Strategic Work: Consolidate and evaluate market trends based on customer feedback. Develop and maintain sales tools and training materials. Contribute ideas for new products, applications, or design modifications based on market requests.
  • Project Work: Drive and support customer projects. Support development projects during the specification phase. Lead product management projects such as market analysis, product launches, and end-of-life (EoL) planning. Support R&D projects by interfacing with the market.
