We are looking for an Application Engineer to support LU-VE Plant Division in Italy.

In your role, you will report to the Application Engineer Manager.

You will be based at LU-VE S.p.A in Uboldo (VA).

Mission of the role

The Application Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support in the selection and development of products, mainly to the sales department, as well as to distributors, direct customers, and consultants.

You will be in charge of

• Harmonizing relations with the commercial network and between various business departments involved in order development by providing the right technical-commercial support.
• Checking the selection tools and collaborating with involved functions to develop better tools.
• Searching for more efficient selection systems.
• Coordinating activities and managing information flow for the development and production of orders, especially for special machines, supporting the technical department.
• Controlling selection activities, particularly for orders acquired in compliance with feasibility rules and corporate sustainability.
• Collaborating with various business functions to improve processes and support the application of procedures across the group.
• Monitoring offers regarding product types, application conditions, and configurations to contribute to standardization based on market needs.

Education & Experience we are looking for

• Preferably 1 year of experience in a similar role within medium/large companies, preferably in the refrigeration sector.
• An Engineering Degree (Energy, Mechanical, Materials, Aerospace) or a High School Technical Diploma.

Qualifications we are looking for

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Preferably, knowledge of SAP management system.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Passion for the role.
