Application Engineer at New Iron

New Iron is seeking an Application Engineer to join our client's team at the forefront of the semiconductor industry in Italy.

This role is client-facing and involves supporting the setup and optimization of smart manufacturing solutions. The engineer will collaborate closely with various stakeholders and manage the full project lifecycle.

Requirements:

1. Knowledge of manufacturing processes in semiconductors.
2. Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to translate business requirements into SQL code.
3. Experience collecting data from primary sources such as the MES and specific fab floor tools, along with data analysis skills.
4. Effective communication and presentation skills.
5. Strong time-management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities.
6. Fluency in Italian and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Proficiency in additional languages, especially French or German.
2. Experience with Oracle systems.
3. Programming skills in C, C#, or Python.
4. Ability to participate in an on-call support rotation.
