A global contract manufacturer is seeking an R&D professional to develop processes for new technologies and materials. You will manage development projects for innovative coatings, analyze data, and collaborate with teams to optimize processes. A Master's degree in Material Sciences, Physics, or Chemistry is required, along with strong project management and interpersonal skills. The role involves both office and manufacturing environments and offers full-time hours with travel opportunities.

The Group has more than 1,800 employees located in 18 production facilities across Europe, North America and Asia.
We are looking for a skilled professional to join our R&D team. This role involves close collaboration with our customers' R&D departments and the development of processes for the application of new technologies and materials (primarily coatings, but not exclusively) to be introduced to the market.
The team works closely with the Rubbiano plant and other facilities within the Surface Solution division, as well as directly with customers.
As a member of the R&D team at our Headquarters, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

This job operates in both an office environment and a manufacturing environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The individual will be required to adhere to safety policies and procedures on the manufacturing floor.
Limited physical demand may be needed. Physical demands will involve standing, walking, and occasionally moving or lifting material.
This is a full‑time position, with core hours Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm. As an exempt employee, you will be required to work additional hours to support business demands.
Frequent travel may be required to support the rapid growth of the company (both national and international), to attend international meetings and conferences. Business travels may require some weeks of permanence abroad.
