Application Architect L4 Java (Ispra, Remote work in Italy)

• Good level of English (B2 or C1).
• Education: Master's degree required. If only a bachelor's degree is held, 2-4 years of additional experience are needed to compensate. Without a bachelor's degree, 10 years of extra experience are required.
• Experience in the design and development of multi-tier Java-based web applications.
• Proficiency in Java programming language.
• Good knowledge of at least one modern front-end framework (preferably Angular), Java Persistence API (JPA), and the Spring Framework.
• Additional skills: Knowledge of other languages such as Italian is a plus.

The role is for an Application Architect level 4 (up to 11 years of experience), with expertise in designing and developing multi-tier Java-based web applications. The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of:
1) at least one modern front-end framework (preferably Angular);
2) Java Persistence API (JPA);
3) Spring Framework.
Experience with JEE, micro-service architectures, data modeling, and physical database design is advantageous.
The working language is English. Knowledge of Italian is beneficial as the team is located in Ispra.
