Job summary

TeamSystem seeks a senior security professional to drive the secure software development lifecycle across the organization, embedding security by design and reducing risk while engaging with AI risk considerations in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting. Hybrid work is available in Milan or Rome, offering impact in a growth-driven company.

You will partner with engineering and product teams to mature the application security posture, defining and tracking security KPIs, and leading initiatives

Qualifications

• Experience with applying security across the software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with AI risk frameworks (NIST RMF, EU AI Act) and cybersecurity controls.
• Knowledge of security by design, encryption, authentication/authorization, and input filtering.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement of application security maturity across teams and products.
• Define, measure, and track security KPIs for vulnerability management and risk visibility.
• Lead security initiatives and promote security-by-design from early development stages.
• Define and evolve security controls aligned with standards, regulations, and frameworks.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and development teams to align security with business priorities.
• Guide engineering teams in security best practices and secure development lifecycle.
