Role

Alternative Payment Methods (APMs) Strategy Specialist, based in Milan. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the strategic development and management of Nexi\'s APM portfolio. The APM Strategy Specialist will work closely with internal teams and external partners to monitor market trends, analyze performance data, and drive initiatives that enhance the adoption and value of APMs within our ecosystem.

What You Will Do
  • Support the ongoing monitoring and governance of Nexi\'s APM portfolio, tracking key performance metrics such as transaction volumes, take-rates, and market penetration.
  • Conduct research and data analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and monetization opportunities in the APM space.
  • Collaborate with Product, Commercial, Finance, Legal, and Compliance teams to support the delivery of APM initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Assist in preparing reports, business cases, and presentations for senior stakeholders and steering committees, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects related to APM launches, enhancements, or optimizations, ensuring timely execution and risk mitigation.
  • Provide support in contract negotiations and partnership management by delivering insights and market intelligence.
  • Act as a point of contact for APM-related queries internally, promoting knowledge sharing and stakeholder engagement.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and technological innovations impacting APMs and share relevant insights with the team.

  • 2-3 years of experience in management consulting, with payments, financial services, or technology industry experience considered a strong plus.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, build business cases, and communicate insights clearly.

  • Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
