This is a good opportunity to participate in the new in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) project for one of the biggest European car makers. This fast-growing project requires talented software developers and test engineers who enjoy challenges and cutting-edge technologies. Applicants will have the opportunity to gain experience in development, integration, or testing of various functionalities. The candidate will be part of an international team and work with the latest software technologies like Android Automotive OS.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and develop solutions for Car Framework & V-HAL development on an embedded environment, ensuring robustness and reusability.
• Develop embedded Android services and components with AOSP middleware for the IVI system.
• Develop Java middleware car services to support embedded Android applications.
• Develop HAL for vehicle-specific components.
• Identify root causes of defects and provide robust software solutions.
• Participate in design, documentation, and unit testing to develop software components.

Skills

Must have

• Java programming experience of 5+ years.
• C++ programming experience of 5+ years.
• Android Development experience (AOSP), including developing or enhancing Android Framework services to support Android applications.
• Hands-on experience adding vendor-specific properties in V-HAL.
• Software development experience on embedded, mobile, or consumer electronic platforms.
• Experience with AOSP internals and Android NDK APIs.
• Experience implementing Android Native Daemon services.

Nice to have

• Experience and knowledge of Android Automotive.
• Experience in automotive infotainment systems.

• Languages: English (B1 Intermediate), Hindi (A2 Elementary).
