Job summary

Mollie is looking for an Analytics Engineer to build robust data assets that power reconciliation and financial insights across Europe. You will create dbt models from raw data to mart tables and develop BI tooling to visualize and extract the data for end users.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Treasury & Merchant Finance to ensure data integrity, monitor dashboards, and help the Payments domain track key metrics. Strong SQL and Python skills, plus BigQuery and Airflow, are required.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience with data modelling and automation.
• Familiarity with dbt and cloud BI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dbt data models powering dashboards that monitor payment metrics.
• Build and maintain BI tooling for visualisation and data extraction.
• Work closely with engineers to understand Mollie's money movements and ensure data accuracy.
• Partner with Merchant Finance, Treasury, and Payments to define data and enable daily reconciliation.
• Create visualisations and narratives to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Implement data quality checks, testing frameworks, and proactive monitoring.
• Mentor team members and keep documentation organised.
