Analyst, Quality Engineering

You will manage regional quality engineering tasks concerning the production of finished goods at EMEA 3PMs and EMEA suppliers to ensure quality is integrated into the products and manufacturing processes at every stage of product development and realization, with support and supervision from the Quality Engineering Manager and Quality Engineering Associate Manager EMEA.

The scope of this role includes supporting local, regional, and global projects to introduce new products or modify existing ones, conducting supplier audits and improvement practices, and supporting quality escalations for prompt and effective resolution. This position requires high daily interaction with internal manufacturing functions, suppliers, Supply Planning, Procurement, R&D, and Regional Quality SCJ functions, as well as external parties such as 3PMs and suppliers.

About the Team/Department

Reporting to the Associate Manager of Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities:

1. Join cross-functional product development teams to ensure quality is incorporated into the product and manufacturing process early in development.
2. Support activities related to NPD, supplier/3PM onboarding, new materials, machine acquisition, and process changes for 3PM introduction, including:

• Executing SQA audits at new 3PMs and suppliers
• Participating in product design reviews
• Developing product-related quality success criteria

Experience you’ll bring:

• BS in Engineering, Chemistry, or equivalent technical background.
• Desired Skills and Knowledge:
• 6 months to 1 year experience in Quality functions; experience with 3PM quality management is advantageous.
• Supplier auditing skills and experience.
• Knowledge of statistical tools such as process capability, sampling, and design of experiments.
• Understanding of major Quality Standards (ISO 9000 series, ISO 2859, ISO 22716...).
• Familiarity with household product technologies and equipment.
• Knowledge of lean methodologies and risk management approaches.
