Summary

As a Provider Enrollment Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing, researching, analyzing, and processing provider enrollment applications. Ensures provider file integrity and compliance with established standards and guidelines.

Description

Location: Full-time (40 hours/week), Monday-Friday, in an office environment. Work hours are 8:00AM-5:00PM, with possible overtime and travel between buildings. Location: 4101 Percival Rd., Columbia, SC, 29229.

What You'll Do:

  • Evaluate provider enrollment applications for acceptability, including initial, reenrollment, reactivation, or information updates.
  • Review and verify provider data using databases and external organizations to ensure authenticity; set up/testing EFT accounts.
  • Enter and update provider data in enrollment systems and directories.
  • Provide quality service and communicate effectively with customers via correspondence and phone.
  • Gather information from internal departments, providers, and agencies to resolve issues.
  • Distribute enrollment applications and information about the process.
  • Participate in special projects related to provider files and assist with system testing and process improvements.
  • Support provider education and training initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent (4 years related experience) or associate's degree with 2 years related experience.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, good judgment, organizational skills, effective communication, attention to detail, basic math, analytical thinking, and discretion handling sensitive information.
  • Tools: Microsoft Office suite.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of provider certification, claims processing, pricing, Medicare regulations, and BlueCross BlueShield enrollment processes.
