You will perform detailed finance work, transactions, and data structuring under the guidance of the Finance Manager. Responsibilities include data collection, maintaining information integrity, monitoring reconciliations, and conducting basic checks and controls.

• Execute aspects of finance planning and performance management, including annual contract planning/forecasting, target development, financial reporting/analysis, financial modeling, and decision support within a specific scope such as region, business unit, or function. Also, execute data collection and integrity checks.

• Perform ad hoc analyses and projects as requested by senior management.
• Support initiatives to improve efficiencies and ways of working, fostering a mindset of continuous improvement.

More about this role

The Commercial Finance Analyst supports analysis, reporting, planning, and controlling activities focused on net revenue and gross-to-net spending. Acts as a business partner to commercial functions such as sales and category planning, managing trade spending budgets and analyzing customer data.

Additional qualifications

• Functional competencies in P&L management, EVA calculations, budgeting, US GAAP, reporting, and pricing management.
• At least 2 years of experience in food and/or finance.
• Strong account management and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, highly self-motivated, and fluent in Italian and English.

Education / Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in economics.

Job-specific requirements

• Monthly closing, reporting, and variance analysis.
• Support for the Integrated Business Plan process.
• Customer agreement management and data entry into Dealman system.
• Manage price changes in SAP and perform profitability and promo analyses.
• Support local and international projects, including promo optimization.
