Job Description

As an Analog Mixed-Signal Verification Engineer, you will contribute to the further development of mixed-signal and digital verification methodologies and tools, including emerging AI-assisted approaches, to further improve the IFX IC design development flow.

In your new role, you will:

1. Align with internal customers (developers) worldwide and EDA vendors to understand the requirements of next-generation products and initiate strategic projects to prepare Infineon for future verification challenges.
2. Contribute to verification efficiency and effectiveness by standardization, innovation, reuse, and exploration of AI applications in verification.
3. Generate, maintain, and execute technical trainings in your area of responsibility.
4. Consult and guide internal developers locally on verification issues.

Your Profile

As a detail-oriented and analytical thinker, you excel in a fast-paced environment. Your strong problem-solving skills and autonomous work style enable you to drive results, innovate, and collaborate within a global team.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

1. A degree in Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of experience in IC verification.
3. Basic knowledge of EDA tools for verification (Cadence AMS-Designer / XCelium, Synopsys VCS/XA).
4. Knowledge of HDL languages, especially SystemVerilog.
5. The ability to write SystemVerilog-based real-number models for analog mixed-signal blocks is a plus.
6. Ability to implement and test scripts (Python, Perl, Shell).
7. Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts and their potential applications in the semiconductor industry.
8. An independent and autonomous working style, with effective collaboration in an international team.
9. Fluency in English.
