Job Opportunity: Analytical Chemist

Grafton LifeScience, a dedicated team within Gi Group Spa, specializes in connecting candidates with roles in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device sectors, focusing on Sales & Marketing, Clinical Research, Regulatory, and Operations.

We are currently seeking a Chemical Analyst for a client in the chemical industry. The successful candidate will contribute to metrological calibration activities and gas sampling at client sites, adapting techniques to market developments.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform metrological calibrations both in-house and at client locations.
2. Conduct basic analytical activities on samples collected from clients.
3. Support the department manager in managing and organizing activities.
4. Assist in developing new analytical methods and systems.
5. Research technological innovations related to biogas and hydrogen fuel cells, and document analytical activities.

Candidate Requirements:

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering or a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Chemistry.
• Knowledge of chemical analysis techniques and laboratory instrumentation.
• Attention to detail and precision.
• Interest in experimental research in the laboratory.
• Passion for learning, reliability, teamwork, and willingness to travel for client visits.

Additional Details:

• Full-time, Monday to Friday.
• Contract: Temporary agency agreement for one year, in the chemical industry collective bargaining agreement.
• Location: Osio Sopra, with travel required.
