Job Description:

Hardware Test Engineer

Datalogic is offering an AME HW Test Engineer role, reporting to the AME Manager. The engineer will collaborate with the Operations Engineering area.

The AME HW Test Engineer supports the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team, bridging R&D and Production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the New Products design team, working with R&D and Quality to ensure design for manufacturability and testability.
  • Define assembly and testing procedures for production, estimate manufacturing costs, establish time standards, and optimize tooling and processes for cost-effectiveness.
  • Design testing tools and automate machines for manufacturing plants.
  • Support new product introduction in the plants.
  • Perform troubleshooting activities and provide production support.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related technical postgraduate qualification.
  • Languages: Italian and fluent English (written and verbal).
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, preferably in tooling design.

Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge of analog and digital hardware.
  • Proficiency in software and electronic systems.
  • Flexibility, creativity, and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team within a complex environment.
