Job Description:

We are working with a rapidly growing 3D scanning company at the forefront of computer vision, machine learning, and AI technology. They're looking for an Algorithm Engineer to help shape the future of industrial automation through innovative research and development.

As a software engineer, you'll work alongside applied scientists and R&D teams to implement state-of-the-art algorithms and neural networks into high-performance, reliable applications. You'll contribute to shaping the innovation roadmap by enhancing our core software and supporting technology transfer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement advanced algorithms and neural networks into industrial products.
• Optimize performance on both CPU and GPU platforms.
• Own and develop core software modules.

Key Skills:

• Strong understanding of computer vision algorithms and neural networks, with proficiency in C/C++/Rust.
• Experience with debugging tools, version control (e.g., Git), and containers.
• Familiarity with GPU programming (e.g., CUDA, TensorRT).
• Ability to interface with cameras/sensors (C/C++ on Linux/Windows is a plus).
• Knowledge of MLOps is a plus.

Key Qualifications:

• MSc with 3+ years of experience or a PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field, preferably in deep tech or ML.
• Fluent in English (required), additional proficiency in Italian/German is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a creative, proactive mindset.
• Proficiency in clean, maintainable C/C++ code.
