is seeking for its AIT Department in Milano for an immediate start an

AIT MECHANICAL ENGINEER m/f Ref.Mech AIT_2025

Combines the role of the Mechanical Designer with the role of Mechanical AIT Operator for Satellite and/or Payload Integration within the AIT Unit.

Your Tasks

1. Actively involved with the team in the definition of the Satellite and/or payload integration approach.
2. Responsible for the implementation of Satellite and/or Payload integration procedures.
3. Collaborate with AIT Team on the Mechanical Integration of structure of NAOS SM, EM and PFM model.
4. Collaborate with the AIT Team on the Mechanical Integration of the EM and flight units.
5. Collaborate with the AIT Team on the Mechanical Integration of flight harness.
6. Installation of thermal and mechanical sensors: thermocouples, thermistors, heaters, accelerometers.
7. Definition and implementation of MAIT processes and related documents.
8. Handling of Satellite and/or Payload and related MGSE, including use of cherry picker.
9. Mechanical support during the Satellite and/or Payload Environmental Test Campaigns.
10. Mechanical support during the Satellite Launch Campaigns.
