Job Opportunity: Airline Avionics Engineer - CAMO

My client, a global airfreight carrier headquartered in Milan Malpensa, Italy, with a fleet of fuel-efficient B777F aircraft, is seeking to hire an Airline Avionics Engineer - CAMO on a permanent basis.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Manage the continuous airworthiness of assigned aircraft systems.
  2. Ensure the reliability and efficiency of aircraft avionic systems to support fleet operations.
  3. Maintain technical and quality standards for all assigned tasks.
  4. Develop and control the Aircraft Maintenance Program and related reliability programs.
  5. Prepare company MEL in accordance with applicable requirements.
  6. Develop and manage CAMO "Specific approvals" procedures to obtain and maintain related approvals.
  7. Manage and control aircraft loadable software.
  8. Prepare technical documentation necessary for compliance with authority and manufacturer requirements.
  9. Establish and develop relationships with aircraft and system/equipment manufacturers, providers, and third-party organizations.
Requirements
  • Experience in Airlines, OEM, or MRO environments managing aircraft avionic systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and engineering skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
Qualifications
  • Aeronautical engineering degree preferred.
