Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced professional in the air cargo sector to join our operational team. The selected candidate will be actively involved in both import and export operations, handling the build-up (consolidation) and break-down (deconsolidation) of air cargo pallets in compliance with airline procedures and IATA standards.

The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with a team of skilled professionals already in place, benefiting from a dynamic, well-structured environment with shared responsibilities and support.

We also welcome applications from senior professionals nearing the end of their careers, who are motivated to share their knowledge and mentor a young and motivated team, contributing to the development of future talent in the cargo logistics field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform build-up of air cargo pallets (e.g., PMC, PAG), ensuring correct positioning, securing, and load balancing;
  • Carry out build up/break-down operations for outbound/inbound pallets;
  • Accurately manage and record weight and volume data for inbound and outbound shipments;
  • Prepare and transmit operational data required by partner airlines (manifest, AWB, shipment details, security status, etc.);
  • Verify documentation related to customs, sanitary controls, and security in coordination with competent authorities;
  • Liaise with ramp agents and freight forwarders to ensure timely and compliant cargo handling;
  • Manage operational communications between warehouse, carriers, agents, and customs offices.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in air cargo operations (import/export), warehouse and ramp handling;
  • Working knowledge of IATA regulations and customs/airport procedures;
  • Familiarity with handling ULDs (Unit Load Devices), special cargo, perishables, and controlled goods;
  • High level of accuracy, autonomy, and ability to perform under pressure in an airport environment;
  • Basic command of technical English and sector-specific terminology.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Forklift license (or eligibility to obtain one); GSE operator.
  • Experience with air cargo management systems (e.g., CHAMP, Cargospot, Hermes);
  • DGR (Dangerous Goods Regulations) certification or experience handling perishables and temperature-sensitive cargo.
