A global technology leader in research and innovation is seeking an experienced AI Systems Architect to join their team in Pisa, Italy. This full-time position involves designing AI systems and leading R&D efforts in areas like CPU, GPU, and NPU computing environments for advancements in technology.

AI System Architect - C / C++ / Python / CPU / GPU / NPU

This position is with a true leader in research, development, and innovation, and we are looking for a highly experienced AI Systems Architect to join the team.

This global technology powerhouse invests heavily into R&D to make huge technological advancements in various sectors and is considered a top global employer with one of the largest patent portfolios in the world.

For this role, you will be the technical visionary, contributing / designing AI systems and helping lead the international R&D team, You will be making breakthroughs in AI foundation technologies, leading architecture planning and tech roadmaps, working on large model architectures and creating AI accelerator architectures.

This is a full-time, permanent position based on-site in Pisa, Italy, so will involve relocation if you're not based locally to here.

For this AI Systems Architect position, I'm interested in speaking to people with the following :

• Must have minimum of Masters degree
• At least 5-10 years experience - The high the experience, the more senior the position (we are hiring for 2)
• Experience with AI systems architectures
• C / C++ or Python languages
• Knowledge of CPU / GPU / NPU computing environments
• Some experience in some areas such as edge inference engines, quantization, model optimization, compiler optimization would be ideal
