Brainlake is seeking a strong AI Product Designer with excellent UX fundamentals, sharp UI taste, and an AI-first approach to how digital products are designed. This is not a traditional UX/UI role; you will actively use AI to rethink research synthesis, ideation, interfaces, prototypes, and validation.

You will work across product and engineering to ensure design decisions survive implementation and to move quickly from briefs to multiple directions while maintaining quality.

Competenze

• 4+ years of strong product or UX design experience across web and mobile products.
• Portfolio demonstrates both strong UX thinking and genuinely good UI taste.
• Understand design fundamentals, not templates or generated interfaces.
• Able to turn unclear problems into logical, usable design experiences.
• Proficient in Figma, including Auto Layout, components, variants, prototyping, and design systems.
• Already use AI meaningfully in day-to-day design processes, not just for copy or image generation.
• Experiment with AI-powered design, prototyping, research, and product-building tools.
• Understand AI changes to product experiences, including uncertainty, oversight, explainability, automation, and conversational interaction.
• Can differentiate AI-generated interfaces that look impressive from those that are well designed.
• Strong visual judgment and meticulous attention to detail.

This is not a traditional UX/UI role with a few AI tools added to the workflow.

We want someone who understands design principles deeply but actively uses AI to rethink how research is synthesized, ideas are explored, interfaces are generated, prototypes are created, and design decisions are validated.

You should be equally comfortable thinking through a complex user flow and obsessing over the quality of the final interface.

The right person knows when AI can accelerate the work, when human judgement matters more, and how to use both without compromising design quality.

• Have a portfolio that demonstrates both strong UX thinking and genuinely good UI taste
• Understand design fundamentals rather than relying on templates or generated interfaces
• Can take an unclear problem and turn it into a logical, usable, and visually strong product experience
• Are highly proficient in Figma, including Auto Layout, components, variants, prototyping, and design systems
• Already use AI meaningfully in your day-to-day design process, not just ChatGPT for copy or occasional image generation
• Actively experiment with AI-powered design, prototyping, research, and product-building tools
• Understand how AI changes product experiences, including uncertainty, human oversight, explainability, automation, and conversational interaction
• Can tell the difference between an AI-generated interface that looks impressive and one that is actually well designed
• Have strong visual judgment and care deeply about details
• Work quickly, explore multiple directions, and are comfortable throwing away mediocre ideas
• Stay actively informed about new AI design capabilities and are constantly testing better ways to work
