Job summary

PALO IT is hiring an AI Tech Lead in CDMX, leading design and implementation of robust AI-driven applications within a 400+ expert consultancy. You will mentor teams and drive architectural governance across Python, Java, GCP, and TypeScript.

Collaborate with product managers to define roadmaps, ensure code quality and security, and foster a culture of innovation as you explore cutting-edge AI technologies and methodologies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software development with a focus on AI and cloud computing.
• Proficient in Python, Java, GCP, TypeScript, and modern databases (Firestore, Google Cloud SQL).
• Solid understanding of ADK and familiarity with Claude Code, GitHub (PR-based workflows), and GitHub Projects.

What does an AI Tech Lead do at PALO IT?

As an AI Tech Lead at PALO IT, you will lead and accelerate the next wave of software innovation across five core responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional teams in developing innovative software applications using Python and Java, along with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and TypeScript.

• Design and implement databases using Firestore and Google Cloud SQL to support scalable and efficient applications.

• Oversee the integration of AI services using the Google Agent Development Kit (ADK), optimizing their utility across projects.

• Mentor and coach the engineering team in best practices for utilizing Claude Code, GitHub (with PR-based workflows), and GitHub Projects.

• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and product requirements.

• Conduct architectural reviews and code assessments to maintain high standards for software quality and security.

• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, exploring new AI technologies and methodologies that benefit the engineering process.
