AI Imaging - Business Development Manager, Italy

Permanent employee, Full-time · Remote - Requires travel to hospitals, conferences, and gatherings of MedTech leaders (25-30% of the time)

The company:

We design pioneering tools that unlock imaging data to improve patient outcomes. Using AI, we help detect pathologies in oncology, rheumatology, and neurology. Our focus is on tissue profiling across body parts and imaging modalities, developing novel biomarkers to analyze disease mechanisms, aiding drug discovery, and monitoring treatment progress. Our goal is to make precision medicine a reality through quantified imaging data and AI.

The Business Development Manager in Italy will support our regional commercial operations by attending medical conferences, generating leads, managing key accounts, and contributing to our go-to-market strategy.

Reporting directly to the Business Development Director, you will be part of the global sales team, collaborating cross-functionally with Customer Success, Legal, Product, Finance, and Marketing teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Outbound lead generation via events, emailing, and social networks using digital tools.
  • Serve as the first contact point for new potential clients.
  • Work with the Business Development Director to expand the Italian market.
  • Implement business development and sales strategies to increase revenue and market share in Italy.
  • Follow up on sales opportunities through the entire sales cycle.
  • Provide feedback to improve commercial processes and contribute to team success.
  • Engage in business development activities for new AI imaging technologies with senior physicians at top hospitals and imaging centers in Italy.
  • Attend medical conferences and conduct outreach to radiologists and clinicians.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Over 5 years of experience in business development within the AI medical imaging industry.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience in sales, business meetings, and professional pitches.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Experience working in international environments.
  • Availability to travel regularly within Italy.
  • A passion for precision medicine, innovative research, and AI.
  • High adaptability to evolving work requirements and environments.
