AI Imaging - Business Development Manager, Italy

Permanent employee, Full-time · Remote - Requires travel to hospitals, conferences, and gatherings of MedTech leaders (25-30% of the time).

The company:

We design and create pioneering tools that unlock imaging data to improve patient outcomes. Using AI to help detect pathologies in oncology, rheumatology, and neurology, we develop novel quantitative imaging biomarkers to analyze disease mechanisms, advance drug discovery, and monitor treatment progress. Our goal is to make precision medicine a reality through the power of quantified imaging data and AI.

The role:

The Business Development Manager in Italy will participate in our regional commercial operations, attend medical conferences, and grow client business with hospitals by generating leads, managing key accounts, and contributing to go-to-market strategies.

Reporting:

Directly to the Business Development Director, collaborating across teams including Customer Success, Legal, Product, Finance, and Marketing.

Responsibilities:
  1. Outbound lead generation via events, emailing, and social networks.
  2. Serve as the first contact point for new potential clients.
  3. Support Italian market expansion with the BD Director.
  4. Implement business development and sales strategies for revenue and market share growth in Italy.
  5. Follow up on sales opportunities through to closing.
  6. Provide feedback to improve commercial processes.
  7. Collaborate on developing new imaging AI technologies with senior physicians in Italy.
  8. Attend medical conferences and conduct outreach to radiologists and clinicians.
Candidate profile:
  • 5+ years' experience in business development within the AI medical imaging industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of leading meetings and delivering pitches.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Experience in an international environment.
  • Availability for regular travel within Italy.
  • Passion for precision medicine, innovative research, and AI.
  • High adaptability to evolving work environments.
