AI Imaging - Business Development Manager, Italy

Permanent, full-time, remote position with travel to hospitals, conferences, and MedTech gatherings (25-30%).

The company:

We design pioneering tools to unlock imaging data for better patient outcomes, using AI to detect pathologies in oncology, rheumatology, and neurology. Our focus includes tissue profiling, developing novel biomarkers, and advancing drug discovery and treatment monitoring through quantified imaging data and AI, making precision medicine a reality.

The Business Development Manager in Italy will participate in our regional commercial operations, attending top medical conferences, growing client business with hospitals by generating leads, managing key accounts, and contributing to go-to-market strategies.

Reporting to the Business Development Director, you’ll be part of the global sales team, collaborating across Customer Success, Legal, Product, Finance, and Marketing departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Outbound lead generation via events, emailing, social networks using digital tools.
  • Serve as the first contact point for new potential clients.
  • Work with the BD Director to expand the Italian market.
  • Implement business development and sales strategies for revenue growth and market share expansion.
  • Follow up on sales opportunities through to closing.
  • Provide feedback to improve commercial processes and contribute to team success.
  • Engage in business development for new AI imaging technologies with senior physicians in Italy.
  • Attend medical conferences and conduct outreach to radiologists and clinicians.

Ideal candidate:

  • Over 5 years of business development experience in AI medical imaging.
  • Excellent communication skills, effective in sales, meetings, and pitches.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Experience in an international environment.
  • Availability for regular travel within Italy.
  • Passion for precision medicine, AI, and innovative research.
  • High adaptability to evolving work environments.
