AI Imaging - Business Development Manager, Italy

Permanent, full-time, remote role with travel to hospitals, conferences, and MedTech gatherings (~25-30% of the time).

The company:

We design pioneering tools to unlock imaging data and improve patient outcomes using AI to detect pathologies in oncology, rheumatology, and neurology. Our focus is on tissue profiling across body parts and imaging modalities, developing novel quantitative biomarkers to analyze disease mechanisms, advance drug discovery, and monitor treatment progress. We harness the power of quantified imaging data and AI to make precision medicine a reality.

The role:

The Business Development Manager in Italy will support our regional commercial operations by attending top medical conferences, growing client relationships with hospitals, generating new leads, managing key accounts, and contributing to go-to-market strategies.

Reporting directly to the Business Development Director, you will be part of the global sales team and collaborate with Customer Success, Legal, Product, Finance, and Marketing teams.

Responsibilities:

  1. Outbound lead generation via events, email, and social networks.
  2. Act as the first contact point for new potential clients.
  3. Support Italian market expansion alongside the Business Development Director.
  4. Implement business development and sales strategies to drive revenue and market share growth in Italy.
  5. Follow up on sales opportunities through to closing.
  6. Provide feedback to improve commercial processes and contribute to team success.
  7. Engage with senior physicians at top hospitals and imaging centers in Italy for new AI imaging technologies.
  8. Attend medical conferences and conduct outreach to radiologists and clinicians.

You will be our ideal candidate if you have:

  1. Over 5 years of experience in business development within the AI medical imaging industry.
  2. Excellent communication skills, including running effective meetings and delivering professional pitches.
  3. Advanced proficiency in English.
  4. Experience working in international environments.
  5. Availability to attend conferences and meetings in Italy regularly.
  6. Integrity and passion for precision medicine, innovative research, and AI.
  7. High adaptability to evolving work requirements and environments.
