AI Imaging - Business Development Manager, Italy
Permanent employee, Full-time · Remote - Requires travel to hospitals, conferences, and gatherings of MedTech leaders (25-30% of the time)
The company:
We design and create pioneering tools that unlock imaging data to improve patient outcomes. We use AI to help detect pathologies in oncology, rheumatology, and neurology. Our focus is on tissue profiling across body parts and imaging modalities, developing novel quantitative imaging biomarkers to analyze disease mechanisms, advancing drug discovery, and monitoring treatment progress. Leveraging quantified imaging data and AI, we aim to realize precision medicine.
The Business Development Manager in Italy will participate in our regional commercial operations, attending top medical conferences, growing client business with hospitals by generating new leads, managing key accounts, and contributing to our go-to-market strategy.
Reporting directly to the Business Development Director, you will be part of the global sales team. The role requires collaboration across teams including Customer Success, Legal, Product, Finance, and Marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Outbound lead generation via events, emailing, and social networks using digital tools.
- Serve as the first point of contact for new potential clients.
- Work with the Business Development Director to expand the Italian market.
- Implement business development and sales strategies to drive revenue and market share growth in Italy.
- Follow up on opportunities throughout the sales cycle up to closing.
- Provide feedback to improve our commercial processes and contribute to team success.
- Engage in business development activities for new AI imaging technologies with senior physicians at leading hospitals and imaging centers in Italy.
- Attend medical conferences and conduct outreach to prominent radiologists and clinicians.
You will be our ideal candidate if you have:
- 5+ years of experience in business development within the AI medical imaging industry.
- Excellent communication skills, including conducting effective sales, business, and internal meetings, and delivering professional pitches.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
- Experience working in an international environment.
- Availability to attend conferences and meetings in Italy regularly.
- Integrity and passion for precision medicine, with an interest in innovative research and AI, the future of clinical research and medicine.
- High adaptability to evolving work requirements, constraints, and expectations.
