Job Description:

We are seeking an AI Imaging Business Development Manager in Italy to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position that is remote but requires travel to hospitals, conferences, and gatherings of MedTech leaders approximately 25-30% of the time.

The company:

We design and create pioneering tools that unlock imaging data to improve patient outcomes. Our AI technology helps detect pathologies in oncology, rheumatology, and neurology. We specialize in tissue profiling across body parts and imaging modalities, developing novel quantitative imaging biomarkers to analyze disease mechanisms, advance drug discovery, and monitor treatment progress. Our goal is to make precision medicine a reality through the power of quantified imaging data and AI.

The role:

The Business Development Manager in Italy will participate in our regional commercial operations, attending top medical conferences, growing client business with hospitals by generating new leads, managing key accounts, and contributing to the company's go-to-market strategy. Reporting directly to the Business Development Director, you will be part of the global sales team and collaborate across teams including Customer Success, Legal, Product, Finance, and Marketing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Outbound lead generation through events, emailing, and social networks using digital tools.
  • Serving as the first point of contact for new potential clients.
  • Working with the Business Development Director to expand the Italian market.
  • Executing business development and sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and market share expansion in Italy.
  • Following up on opportunities throughout the sales cycle until closing.
  • Providing feedback to improve commercial processes.
  • Collaborating on business development activities for new AI imaging technologies with senior physicians at top hospitals and imaging centers in Italy.
  • Attending medical conferences and conducting outreach to radiologists and clinicians.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in business development within the AI medical imaging industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, including running effective sales and internal meetings, and delivering professional pitches.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Experience working in an international environment.
  • Availability to attend conferences and meetings in Italy regularly.
  • Integrity and passion for precision medicine, innovative research, and AI.
  • High adaptability and the ability to thrive in an evolving environment.
