AI Imaging - Business Development Manager, Italy

Permanent employee, Full-time · Remote - Requires travel to hospitals + conferences, + any gatherings of MedTech leaders - 25/30% of the time.

We design and create pioneering tools that unlock imaging data to improve patient outcomes. We use AI to help detect pathologies in oncology, rheumatology, and neurology. It specializes in tissue profiling every body part and imaging modality, developing novel quantitative imaging biomarkers to deeply analyze disease mechanisms, advancing in drug discovery and monitoring treatment progress. Using the power and promise of quantified imaging data and AI makes precision medicine a reality.

The BD Manager in Italy will participate in our commercial operations in the region, attending the best medical conferences and growing the client's business with hospitals by generating new leads, owning and managing key accounts, and contributing to the go-to-market strategy of the company.

Reporting directly to the Business Development Director, you’ll be part of the global sales team. The position also requires in-depth, consistent cross-team collaborations within our Customer Success, Legal, Product, Finance, and Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Outbound lead generation (events, emailing, social networks) with digital tools.
  • Serve as the first point of contact with new potential clients.
  • Work directly with the Business Development Director to boost the Italian market expansion.
  • Execute a successful business development and sales strategy for significant revenue growth and market share expansion in Italy, together with the BD Director.
  • Follow-up opportunities throughout the sales cycle (up to Closing).
  • Bring continuous feedback and improvements to our commercial processes, being involved in the team's success.
  • Collaborate in the business development activities for new imaging AI technologies with senior physicians at the best hospitals and imaging centers in Italy.
  • Attend medical conferences, conducting new customer outreach to prominent radiologists and clinicians.

You will be our ideal candidate if you have:

  • 5+ years' of work experience in business development in the AI medical imaging industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, including strengths in running effective sales, business, and internal meetings, preparing and delivering professional pitches.
  • Advanced level of English.
  • Experience working in an international environment.
  • Availability to attend conferences and meetings in Italy, regularly.
  • Integrity and passion for precision medicine. Fascination for innovative research and AI, the future of clinical research and medicine.
  • High adaptability, with the capacity to embrace the unknown and thrive in an environment where work requirements, constraints, and expectations are ever-evolving.
