AI Imaging - Business Development Manager, Italy

Permanent, full-time, remote position with travel to hospitals, conferences, and gatherings of MedTech leaders (25-30% travel).

The company:

We design pioneering tools that unlock imaging data to improve patient outcomes. Using AI, we detect pathologies in oncology, rheumatology, and neurology. Our focus is on tissue profiling and developing novel imaging biomarkers to analyze disease mechanisms, advancing drug discovery and treatment monitoring. Our goal is to make precision medicine a reality through quantified imaging data and AI.

Role overview:

The Business Development Manager in Italy will support our regional commercial operations by attending medical conferences, generating leads, managing key accounts, and contributing to our go-to-market strategy. Reporting to the Business Development Director, you will be part of the global sales team and collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Legal, Product, Finance, and Marketing teams.

Responsibilities:

  1. Generate leads through events, email, and social networks using digital tools.
  2. Act as the first point of contact for new potential clients.
  3. Work with the Business Development Director to expand the Italian market.
  4. Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and market share in Italy.
  5. Follow up on opportunities throughout the sales cycle to closing.
  6. Provide feedback to improve commercial processes and contribute to team success.
  7. Collaborate on business development activities for new AI imaging technologies with senior physicians in Italy.
  8. Attend medical conferences and engage with radiologists and clinicians for outreach.

Candidate profile:

  • 5+ years of experience in business development within the AI medical imaging industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, including conducting effective meetings and delivering professional pitches.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Experience in international environments.
  • Availability to travel within Italy for conferences and meetings.
  • Passion for precision medicine, innovation, and AI in clinical research and medicine.
  • High adaptability to evolving work environments and requirements.
