Job Description:

AI Imaging - Business Development Manager, Italy

Permanent, full-time, remote role with travel to hospitals, conferences, and MedTech gatherings (25-30% of the time).

The company:

We design pioneering tools that leverage AI to analyze imaging data, improve patient outcomes, and advance precision medicine. Our technologies include tissue profiling and novel imaging biomarkers across various modalities, aiding in disease analysis, drug discovery, and treatment monitoring.

Role overview:

The Business Development Manager in Italy will support regional commercial activities, attend top medical conferences, and expand client relationships with hospitals by generating leads, managing key accounts, and shaping go-to-market strategies.

Reporting to the Business Development Director, you will be part of the global sales team and collaborate with Customer Success, Legal, Product, Finance, and Marketing teams.

Responsibilities:
  1. Outbound lead generation via events, email, and social networks.
  2. Serve as the initial contact point for new clients.
  3. Assist in market expansion efforts alongside the BD Director.
  4. Implement business development and sales strategies to grow revenue and market share in Italy.
  5. Follow up on sales opportunities through to closure.
  6. Provide feedback to improve commercial processes.
  7. Engage with senior physicians at top hospitals and imaging centers for new AI imaging technologies.
  8. Attend medical conferences and conduct outreach to radiologists and clinicians.
Candidate profile:
  • Over 5 years' experience in business development within the AI medical imaging industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of leading meetings and delivering pitches.
  • Proficient in English at an advanced level.
  • Experience in international environments.
  • Availability for regular travel within Italy.
  • Passion for precision medicine, AI, and innovative research.
  • High adaptability and resilience in a dynamic work environment.
