AI Imaging - Business Development Manager, Italy

Permanent employee, Full-time · Remote - Requires travel to hospitals, conferences, and gatherings of MedTech leaders (25-30% of the time)

The company:

We design and create pioneering tools that unlock imaging data to improve patient outcomes. We use AI to help detect pathologies in oncology, rheumatology, and neurology. It specializes in tissue profiling of every body part and imaging modality, developing novel quantitative imaging biomarkers to analyze disease mechanisms, advancing drug discovery, and monitoring treatment progress. Using the power of quantified imaging data and AI, we aim to make precision medicine a reality.

The BD Manager in Italy will participate in our commercial operations in the region, attending medical conferences, growing the client's business with hospitals by generating new leads, managing key accounts, and contributing to the go-to-market strategy.

Reporting directly to the Business Development Director, you’ll be part of the global sales team. The role involves cross-team collaboration with Customer Success, Legal, Product, Finance, and Marketing departments.

Responsibilities:

  1. Outbound lead generation through events, emailing, and social networks using digital tools.
  2. Serve as the first point of contact with new potential clients.
  3. Collaborate with the Business Development Director to expand the Italian market.
  4. Implement business development and sales strategies for revenue growth and market share expansion in Italy.
  5. Follow up on opportunities throughout the sales cycle up to closing.
  6. Provide feedback and suggest improvements to commercial processes.
  7. Engage in business development activities for new imaging AI technologies with senior physicians at leading hospitals and imaging centers in Italy.
  8. Attend medical conferences and conduct outreach to radiologists and clinicians.

You will be our ideal candidate if you have:

  1. At least 5 years of experience in business development within the AI medical imaging industry.
  2. Excellent communication skills, including conducting effective sales and internal meetings, and delivering professional pitches.
  3. Advanced proficiency in English.
  4. Experience working in an international environment.
  5. Availability to attend conferences and meetings in Italy regularly.
  6. Integrity and passion for precision medicine, with a fascination for innovative research, AI, and the future of clinical research and medicine.
  7. High adaptability to evolving work requirements, constraints, and expectations.
