AI Imaging - Business Development Manager, Italy

Permanent, Full-time · Remote with travel to hospitals, conferences, and industry gatherings (25-30% of the time)

The company:

We design pioneering tools that utilize AI to analyze imaging data, aiming to improve patient outcomes across oncology, rheumatology, and neurology. Our focus is on tissue profiling and developing quantitative imaging biomarkers to advance disease understanding, drug discovery, and treatment monitoring, making precision medicine a reality.

The role:

The Business Development Manager in Italy will support our regional operations by attending top medical conferences, expanding our client base with hospitals, generating leads, managing key accounts, and contributing to our go-to-market strategies.

Reporting to the Business Development Director, you will be part of the global sales team and collaborate with Customer Success, Legal, Product, Finance, and Marketing teams.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead generation through events, email, and social media using digital tools.
  2. Act as the first contact point for new potential clients.
  3. Assist the Business Development Director in expanding the Italian market.
  4. Implement business development and sales strategies for revenue growth and market share increase in Italy.
  5. Follow up on sales opportunities through to closing.
  6. Provide feedback to improve commercial processes.
  7. Engage with senior physicians at leading hospitals and imaging centers in Italy for new AI imaging technologies.
  8. Attend medical conferences and outreach to radiologists and clinicians.

Ideal Candidate:

  1. Over 5 years of experience in business development within the AI medical imaging industry.
  2. Excellent communication skills, including conducting effective meetings and delivering pitches.
  3. Proficiency in English.
  4. Experience in an international environment.
  5. Availability to travel within Italy for conferences and meetings.
  6. Passion for precision medicine, AI, and innovative research.
  7. Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic environment.
