AI Imaging - Business Development Manager, Italy

Permanent, Full-time · Remote (25-30% travel to hospitals, conferences, and MedTech gatherings)

The company:

We design pioneering tools that leverage AI to analyze imaging data, improving patient outcomes across oncology, rheumatology, and neurology. Our focus is on tissue profiling and developing novel imaging biomarkers to analyze disease mechanisms, aiding drug discovery and treatment monitoring. We aim to make precision medicine a reality through the power of AI and quantified imaging data.

The Business Development Manager in Italy will support our regional commercial operations by attending top medical conferences, growing client relationships with hospitals, generating new leads, managing key accounts, and contributing to our go-to-market strategies.

Reporting to the Business Development Director, you will be part of the global sales team and collaborate with Customer Success, Legal, Product, Finance, and Marketing teams.

Responsibilities:
  1. Outbound lead generation via events, email, and social networks using digital tools.
  2. Serve as the first contact point for new potential clients.
  3. Assist the Business Development Director in expanding the Italian market.
  4. Implement business development and sales strategies to increase revenue and market share in Italy.
  5. Follow up on sales opportunities through to closing.
  6. Provide feedback to improve commercial processes and contribute to team success.
  7. Engage with senior physicians at leading hospitals and imaging centers in Italy for new AI imaging technologies.
  8. Attend medical conferences and conduct outreach to radiologists and clinicians.
Candidate Profile:
  1. 5+ years of experience in business development within the AI medical imaging industry.
  2. Excellent communication skills, including conducting effective meetings and delivering professional pitches.
  3. Proficiency in English at an advanced level.
  4. Experience in an international environment.
  5. Availability for regular travel within Italy.
  6. Passion for precision medicine, AI, and innovative research.
  7. High adaptability and resilience in a dynamic environment.
