AI Imaging - Business Development Manager, Italy

Permanent employee, Full-time · Remote - Requires travel to hospitals, conferences, and gatherings of MedTech leaders - approximately 25-30% of the time

The company:

We design and create pioneering tools that unlock imaging data to improve patient outcomes. We use AI to help detect pathologies in oncology, rheumatology, and neurology. Our specialization includes tissue profiling of every body part and imaging modality, developing novel quantitative imaging biomarkers to analyze disease mechanisms, advancing drug discovery, and monitoring treatment progress. Leveraging the power of quantified imaging data and AI, we aim to make precision medicine a reality.

The role:

The Business Development Manager in Italy will participate in our regional commercial operations, attend top medical conferences, grow client business with hospitals by generating new leads, managing key accounts, and contributing to our go-to-market strategy.

Reporting and collaboration:

Reporting directly to the Business Development Director, you will be part of the global sales team. The role involves collaboration across teams including Customer Success, Legal, Product, Finance, and Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  1. Outbound lead generation via events, emailing, and social networks using digital tools.
  2. Serve as the first contact point for new potential clients.
  3. Collaborate with the Business Development Director to expand the Italian market.
  4. Implement business development and sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and market share expansion in Italy.
  5. Follow-up on opportunities throughout the sales cycle up to closing.
  6. Provide feedback and suggest improvements to commercial processes.
  7. Engage in business development activities for new AI imaging technologies with senior physicians at leading hospitals and imaging centers in Italy.
  8. Attend medical conferences and conduct outreach to prominent radiologists and clinicians.

Ideal candidate:

  1. Over 5 years of experience in business development within the AI medical imaging industry.
  2. Excellent communication skills, including conducting effective sales and business meetings, and delivering professional pitches.
  3. Advanced English proficiency.
  4. Experience in an international environment.
  5. Availability to attend conferences and meetings in Italy regularly.
  6. Integrity and passion for precision medicine, innovative research, and AI, with a fascination for the future of clinical research and medicine.
  7. High adaptability and resilience in a dynamic, evolving environment.
