AI Imaging - Business Development Manager, Italy

Permanent, full-time, remote position with travel to hospitals, conferences, and MedTech gatherings (25-30% of the time).

The company:

We design pioneering tools that unlock imaging data to improve patient outcomes using AI to detect pathologies in oncology, rheumatology, and neurology. We develop novel quantitative imaging biomarkers to analyze disease mechanisms, advance drug discovery, and monitor treatment progress, making precision medicine a reality.

The role:

The BD Manager in Italy will participate in our regional commercial operations, attending medical conferences, growing client business with hospitals, generating leads, managing key accounts, and contributing to go-to-market strategies.

Reporting to the Business Development Director, you’ll be part of the global sales team and collaborate with Customer Success, Legal, Product, Finance, and Marketing teams.

Responsibilities:

• Outbound lead generation via events, email, and social networks.
• Serve as the first contact point for potential clients.
• Assist in expanding the Italian market with the BD Director.
• Implement business development and sales strategies for revenue growth and market share expansion.
• Follow up on sales opportunities through to closing.
• Provide feedback to improve commercial processes.
• Engage with senior physicians at top hospitals and imaging centers for new AI imaging technologies.
• Attend medical conferences and conduct outreach to radiologists and clinicians.

Ideal candidate:

• 5+ years of experience in business development within the AI medical imaging industry.
• Excellent communication skills, including conducting effective meetings and delivering pitches.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Experience in international environments.
• Availability to attend conferences and meetings in Italy regularly.
• Passion for precision medicine, innovative research, and AI.
• High adaptability to evolving work environments.
