Contents, a leading Italian scale-up, is seeking an AI Engineer to join their Technology and Innovation team in Turbigo. You will design, implement, and optimize AI-powered systems to generate creative content for global enterprises. This dynamic role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and offers a hybrid working environment.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in computer science or engineering and has solid programming skills in Python along with experience in generative AI models and prompt engineering.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or similar field.
• Experience with generative AI models and prompt engineering for LLMs.
• Strong programming experience in Python and relevant libraries/frameworks.
• Experience with FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• Practical knowledge of Docker containerization.
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures and NLP techniques.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).

Overview

We are seeking an AI Engineer to join our Technology and Innovation team. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement and optimize AI-powered systems that generate creative content for global enterprise companies and serve thousands of users worldwide, driving business growth at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy machine learning models and AI services using Python, FastAPI and related frameworks
• Build and implement autonomous AI agents and multi-agent systems that can collaborate to solve complex tasks, make decisions and execute workflows with minimal human intervention
• Develop and optimize prompt engineering strategies for various use cases
• Collaborate with the product team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Build and maintain containerized AI services using Docker and create scalable AI pipelines for content generation
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices to integrate AI models into our platform
• Monitor and optimize AI model performance to improve accuracy, scalability and user experience
• Conduct experiments, perform data analysis and provide insights to enhance model performance
• Stay updated on the latest advances in AI/GenAI technologies and proactively suggest platform improvements
• Participate in code reviews, unit tests and documentation to ensure high quality product delivery

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or similar field
• Experience with generative AI models and prompt engineering for LLMs
• Strong programming experience in Python and relevant libraries/frameworks
• Experience with FastAPI or similar frameworks
• Practical knowledge of Docker containerization
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures and natural language processing (NLP) techniques
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
• Analytical thinker with intellectual curiosity and a systematic approach to problem-solving
• Strong believer in teamwork and collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MLOps/LLMOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS
• Experience with vector databases and RAG frameworks (LlamaIndex, LangChain)
• Background in NLP or computational linguistics
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools
