Speckand in Italy is launching a Graduate Development Program aimed at recent graduates seeking to innovate within the FinTech sector. The program spans three years and emphasizes hands-on experience in product development, especially in Machine Learning and AI solutions. Participants will be paired with senior professionals and given real responsibilities from day one.

This opportunity requires a Master's degree in a STEM field and strong communication skills. English fluency is mandatory, while relocation support is available for candidates outside the EU.

Our Graduate Development Program is a three-year journey designed for recent graduates who look beyond the obvious, challenge existing processes, and are driven to automate and reinvent the way things work. The program is structured into 4 progressive phases, each with distinct learning objectives. Tasks evolve according to your abilities and interests, ensuring the experience is as individual as you are. From day one, you join ION on a full‑time permanent contract, carry real accountability on live projects, and be paired with senior professionals who guide your development throughout the entire journey.

What You’ll Do

Across phases, you will gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art methodologies and technologies in our agile product development environment. This role is designed to grow well-rounded AI professionals, with a solid foundation in software engineering to bring models into production.

• Contributing directly to the development of ION’s products, from requirements through to delivery
• Design, develop, train, evaluate and iterate on Machine Learning models and Generative AI solutions
• Work with Language Models (LLMs) and related techniques (e.g., prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, fine-tuning, evaluation)
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to build and ship innovative, high-impact products
• Solving complex technical problems and translating them into scalable, efficient solutions
