Generali is seeking a Vulnerability Analyst and Penetration Tester to join the Cyber Security Monitoring team in Italy. You will perform vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, red teaming exercises, and security impact analyses against evolving threats.

You will utilize OSINT, Threat Intelligence feeds, and AI-assisted platforms to identify new vulnerabilities, assess risk, and recommend remediation actions.

Competenze

• Degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or equivalent
• 2-5 years of vulnerability assessment/penetration testing experience
• Knowledge of vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, red teaming, and vulnerability management methodologies
• Familiarity with OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, CVSS
• Experience with market tools such as Qualys, Nessus, OpenVAS, NMAP
• Experience with penetration testing tools such as Zap, Burp Suite, Metasploit, Wireshark, John the Ripper, SQLMap
• Understanding of Threat Intelligence, OSINT techniques, and cyber threat analysis
• Familiarity with AI/ML, LLMs, and AI-assisted cybersecurity platforms
• Strong communication to explain findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Good knowledge of IT networks, OS, and web/app server architectures
• Knowledge of Microsoft AD architecture
• Programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, C/C++
• Intermediate English (CEFR B1)
• Certificates (CEH, OSCP, GPEN) a plus

Mansioni

• Perform Red Teaming with CSIRT to validate detection, response, and remediation
• Conduct WAPT and infrastructure penetration testing
• Execute periodic Vulnerability Assessments on internal/external infrastructures
• Track and report vulnerabilities through Vulnerability Management processes
• Analyze CVEs and zero-day threats from OSINT/Threat Intel sources
• Leverage Generative AI for threat intel and vulnerability research
• Support proactive threat hunting and attack surface monitoring
• Improve security testing methodologies and adversary emulation
