Musixmatch seeks a Software Engineer Intern to join Services Engineering, building MCP-based tooling on a large-scale catalog. You’ll work with production data and cloud infrastructure to design AI-assisted data investigation, metadata auditing, anomaly detection, and reporting.

The position is a 6‑month extracurricular internship with a monthly reimbursement of €800, offering hands-on experience in backend services, Docker/Kubernetes, and cloud workflows.

Competenze

• Knowledge of Node.js/TypeScript, Python, or PHP for backend development.
• Basic SQL/NoSQL querying and data modeling.
• Interest in AI tooling, LLMs and Model Context Protocol.
• Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform is a plus.
• Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Willingness to learn and work in English.

Mansioni

• Map the Recording music catalog architecture across MySQL/Aurora and DynamoDB.
• Build MCP servers, exposing catalog data and prompts to AI agents.
• Implement access controls and safeguards to protect production systems.
• Monitor inference costs and optimize latency and accuracy.
• Containerize services with Docker and deploy to Kubernetes via Helm.
• Collaborate with Operations for staging, production, and beta rollout.
